Kimberly Paton graduated with her Bachelor of Arts degree from New York University in 1983.  She pursued her law degree at New York Law School and achieved her Juris Doctor in 1986.  In 1986, she was admitted to the bar in New Jersey.  She was admitted to the bar in New York in 1987.

Professional memberships

Admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey, Kimberly Paton is an active member of the several professional organizations.  As a member of the Bergen County Bar Association, she serves on the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Sections.

Community involvement

Kimberly Paton is active in educating the community on changes in the law.  Her thoughtful articles and presentations make her a sought-after speaker at New Jersey colleges and civic organizations.  The first woman president of the Bergenfield-Dumont Rotary Club, she was recently re-elected to serve a second term.  Rotary District 7490 has also appointed her as the Trustee of the Walter D. Head Foundation.  Kimberly A. Paton serves as Secretary and Trustee of Care Plus NJ, a member of and legal counsel for the Care Plus Foundation and on the boards of several other charitable foundations as either a trustee or legal advisor.
